BINIATRO HOUSE

Biniatro House is a five-bedroom residence in Son Vida, on the hillside outskirts of Palma, designed by Negre Studio. Set on a steeply sloping 800-square-metre plot, the house commands panoramic views over the sea while remaining closely tied to its Mediterranean landscape. The brief was to create a home that felt at one with its setting — contemporary in feel, but rooted in the natural environment.

The interior palette was built around honest, earth-drawn materials — stone, textured finishes and natural tones that echo the site itself. Light and shadow move through the spaces throughout the day, and the constant presence of the landscape just beyond the glass gives each room its sense of place.

The photography documents that relationship: a house where nature, materiality and the quality of Mediterranean light are the defining elements.
